This website was originally created by CSUF Graduate Student, Heather Krstich, M.S., to provide a resource of apps and electronic games and sites to help teach and reinforce reading skills. The apps and sites are grouped by areas of reading and literacy instruction. Use the Welcome and Bienvenidos tabs to select resources with explanation in either English or Spanish

At the Hazel Miller Croy Reading Center, our mission is to support reading & literacy development through instruction, building teacher capacity, and supporting family literacy. We provide a number of services to the community, including One-on-One Intervention and Assessment Services for children who need assistance in reading and literacy. Reading camp programs (Ready, Set, Read!) are designed to motivate and engage young readers and are offered for varying grade levels at our Center and selected locations. Assistance with locating recommended Private Tutorial Services is also provided.  All HMC Reading Center services are coordinated by professional faculty in the Literacy and Reading Education Department.
